King Coal is a dark black cat and king of their third kingdom currently under protection from Whisper.
Heart's Desire[]
In the prologue,Princes Coal and Stone are near the Cliff,a dangerous area.Stone falls over the edge in a landslide and Coall blames himself.He later becomes very protective of his daughter Lily Rose and refuses to let her go to the Cliff.
Heart's Trials[]
Coal isn't seen as often in this book but defends Pebble and Ripple when Emerald says they are out of control.
